Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced Fire Door Engineer to join a growing and well-established building compliance contractor. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of work across commercial and public sector properties.
The Role
As a Fire Door Engineer, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, installation and remedial works of fire doors to ensure full compliance with current fire safety regulations. You will work across a varied portfolio of sites, delivering high-quality workmanship and maintaining excellent client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
  * 
    Carry out fire door inspections in line with current regulations.
  * 
    Complete fire door installations and remedial repairs.
  * 
    Replace ironmongery, seals, hinges, closers and glazing where required.
  * 
    Record findings accurately using digital reporting systems.
  * 
    Ensure all work is completed safely and to the required compliance standards.
  * 
    Liaise professionally with clients and site representatives.
Requirements
  * 
    Previous experience working as a Fire Door Engineer.
  * 
    Good understanding of fire door compliance and relevant legislation.
  * 
    Experience carrying out inspections, repairs and installations.
  * 
    Full UK driving licence.
  * 
    Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

    £41,500 basic salary.
