We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fire Door Maintainer to join my Fire Safety clients team, carrying out maintenance of fire doors across social housing and commercial properties in Bedford, Northampton, and Cambridge.
Key Responsibilities of the Fire Door Maintainer:

Maintain fire-rated doors in accordance with current legislation and manufacturer specifications
*
Ensure all work meets fire safety compliance standards (e.g., BM TRADA or equivalent)
*
Conduct site assessments and report any defects or compliance issues
*
Liaise professionally with clients, tenants, and site managers
Requirements of the Fire Door Maintainer:
*
NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or Joinery (essential)
*
Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card (essential)
*
Previous experience in fire door fitting (minimum 2 years preferred)
*
Full UK driving licence; own van is desirable but not essential
*
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and fire door compliance standards
