Job Description
Are you passionate about safety and compliance? A leading company in the FM industry is seeking a Fire Door Fitter in Derbyshire/ Leicestershire to ensure fire safety standards are met and maintained.
£18-22ph pad weekly via umbrella
Monday to Friday
Temporary
The main duties of a Fire Door Fitter are:
* Install and maintain fire-rated doors, door sets, and associated ironmongery (hinges, closers, seals).
* Inspect and assess existing fire doors for compliance with regulations (e.g., BS 8214, BS 476).
* Identify defects and carry out repairs or replacements where necessary.
* Record and document all work accurately, including photographic evidence and compliance reports.
As a Fire door fitter, you will need:
* Previous experience fitting fire doors ( fire door carpenter/ fire door installer/ FRA carpenter etc)
* Understanding of passive fire protection systems and UK fire regulations.
* DBS Basic required.
* CSCS card needed.
* Own vehicle and tools required.
