Are you an experienced Fire Door Installer looking for a long-term opportunity with a company that values high standards, provides all the right tools, and offers potential to earn more?
We're looking for 3–5 Fire Door Installers to join our growing Passive Fire Protection team based out of our Thetford depot. You’ll be responsible for the installation and maintenance of certified fire doorsets across schools, MOD bases and public buildings, delivering a fully compliant, professional finish every time.
What we’re offering:
* £24.30–£25.00/hour basic (39 hrs/week)
* Temp-to-perm after 13 weeks
* Vehicles and fuel cards provided during temp period
* Full uniform, iPad, materials, blades, and fixings supplied
* Additional earning potential of £75.00 per door installed, beyond the first, once permanent
* Strong team environment with opportunities to develop further in Passive Fire Safety
Your Role:
* Install 1 fully compliant doorset per day or complete 3 upgrades
* Accurately record installations on an iPad and submit reports daily
* Work to the highest standards in line with FIRAS, BM Trada or equivalent
* Uphold safety and compliance in sensitive sites including schools and MOD facilities
What We’re Looking For:
* Live within 1 hour of Thetford
* Minimum 2–3 years experience installing certified fire doorsets
* Ideally FIRAS/BM Trada certified or experience working under such schemes
* Tech-savvy – must be confident using iPads for daily reporting
* A clean driving licence (max 3 points) and able to pass a DBS check
* Reliable, self-motivated and a good team player
* Interest in Passive Fire Safety and willingness to grow in the sector
* Will consider experienced composite or UPVC door installers looking to transition into fire doors

* Drill driver & impact driver
* SDS drill
* Pin gun (2nd fix)
* Router & planer
* Track saw
* Mitre saw (battery or hand-powered)
* 6ft and 2ft levels
* Mastic gun
* Full hand tool kit
* Trestles/Sawhorses
