A forward-thinking fire engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Fire Engineer to join their growing team. The Fire Engineer's Role
Develop performance-based fire strategies in line with ADB, BS 9999, BS 9991, and the Building Safety Act
Produce clear, compliant fire strategy reports from concept through to completion
Contribute to fire modelling and advanced calculations (CFD experience advantageous)
Engage directly with clients, design teams, and authorities across all RIBA stages
Conduct site inspections, reviews and risk assessments
Support junior team members and technical development initiativesThe Fire Engineer
Degree in Fire Engineering or closely related field
2-3+ years' experience in a UK fire consultancy or multidisciplinary environment
Proven ability to deliver quality reports and client-facing technical advice
Strong knowledge of UK fire safety regulations and codes
Progressing towards MIFireE or IEng / CEng status (or actively interested)
Proactive and collaborative, with a clear, solution-focused mindsetIn Return?
£45,000 - £60,000 base salary
Bonus scheme (up to 15% of salary, profit-based)
Two 3-day weekends per month (up to 24 additional days off)
28 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays + your birthday off
