Fire Engineer job for an established fire engineering consultancy based in Sunderland. The role offers a salary of £42,000 - £50,000 + 4.5-day week + private healthcare + professional development.

Role & Responsibilities
Lead and manage small to medium fire engineering projects, taking ownership of deliverables
Produce fire safety strategies, technical reports, and performance-based design solutions
Provide technical advice to clients, design teams, and authorities having jurisdiction
Participate in design team meetings and site inspections
Support junior engineers and graduates, contributing to their development
Stay up to date with UK fire safety legislation, guidance, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
Degree qualified in Fire Engineering (BEng/BSc/MSc) and ideally working towards Chartered status
Practical experience delivering fire engineering solutions for UK projects
Strong knowledge of UK legislation, guidance, and design standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in a team environment
UK driving licence preferred but not essential
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK as sponsorship is not available for this position.
