Job Description

Our client, a well-established and growing fire safety consultancy, is seeking a Fire Risk Assessor to join their team covering Leeds and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to work across a diverse portfolio of premises, including commercial, residential, and public-sector buildings. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping clients maintain compliance with fire safety legislation by conducting thorough fire risk assessments and providing clear, practical recommendations. Key Responsibilities Carry out comprehensive fire risk assessments across a range of premises. Identify fire hazards and evaluate existing fire safety measures. Produce clear and detailed fire risk assessment reports with practical recommendations. Advise clients on fire safety improvements and compliance requirements. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders. Stay up to date with current fire safety legislation and industry best practice. Requirements Minimum Level 3 qualification in Fire Safety (or equivalent). At least 2 years’ experience carrying out fire risk assessments across a variety of premises. Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and guidance. Excellent report writing and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively. Full UK driving licence preferred.
