The Job
As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting thorough fire risk assessments primarily within commercial properties, including offices and substations, across the Home Counties. You will play a crucial role in helping businesses and organisations stay safe and compliant with fire safety law.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed Fire Risk Assessments in accordance with relevant legislation and standards.
Identify potential fire hazards and provide practical recommendations for mitigation.
Prepare comprehensive and clear assessment reports using provided assessment software on a tablet.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of fire safety regulations, British Standards, and industry best practices.
Communicate effectively with clients, providing expert advice and guidance on fire safety matters.
About You:
You must hold a minimum Level 3 Fire Risk Assessor qualification.
Proven experience in conducting fire risk assessments on commercial properties, offices, and substations is essential.
Open to over night stays every so often, expenses paid for
A solid understanding of fire safety principles and relevant building regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
