Fire Safety Surveyor – West London
Contract: 3–6 months (ongoing)
Rate: £350 per day (umbrella)
Location: West London (Hybrid – office/site/home)
We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Safety Surveyor to join a busy local authority team in West London. You will play a key role in ensuring building safety compliance across a diverse housing portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct fire safety surveys and inspections across residential properties
Ensure compliance with current fire safety regulations and standards
Assist with preparation of fire risk assessment actions and follow-ups
Provide technical advice on fire safety measures and remedial works
Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors on fire safety improvements
Produce detailed reports and maintain accurate recordsRequirements:
Strong fire safety compliance and surveying background
Experience working with social housing or public sector buildings
Knowledge of current fire safety regulations and best practice
Relevant qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH Fire Safety, Fire Risk Assessment certificate)
