Job Description

Multiskilled Service Engineer

Location: Manchester
Salary: Up to £42,(Apply online only) + Overtime + Company Vehicle

A well-established provider of fire and security solutions is looking to recruit a Multiskilled Service Engineer to support a portfolio of commercial customers throughout Manchester and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong security background who is also comfortable working on fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on security systems.
Diagnose and rectify faults on CCTV, intruder alarm, access control, and fire alarm systems.
Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
Build strong relationships with customers through a professional and reliable service.
Participate in an on-call rota.

Ideal Candidate

You'll have experience working with a range of security systems, with knowledge of fire alarms being beneficial.

Experience with any of the following would be advantageous:

Galaxy
Paxton
Advanced
Gent
Kentec
Morley
Knowledge of fire extinguisher servicing is desirable but not essential.

Overtime & On-Call

Standard overtime Monday–Friday 
Time and a half for evenings and Saturday mornings

£145 standby allowance, plus paid overtime for all call-outs
