Fire & Security Service Engineer – Swindon/Reading/Gloucester
Location: Swindon (covering Swindon, Reading and Gloucester)
V7 are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join a leading national business supporting multiple commercial & domestic sites across Swindon, Reading and Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable organisation offering long-term progression, ongoing training and support from a well-established regional team.

Service, maintenance and reactive repairs on CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems
Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and testing on security systems
Occasional fire alarm servicing and basic fire fault-finding
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant standards and site procedures
Provide technical support to customers while maintaining high levels of professionalism
Complete detailed service reports and documentation accuratelyExperience Required:
Strong background servicing security systems as a priority
Experience with CCTV, access control and intruder systems
Basic fire alarm service experience beneficial but not essential
Confident fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience working across commercial environments
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Good communication and customer-facing skillsQualifications:
Relevant electrical or security engineering qualifications preferred
Product training on common security platforms advantageous
Full right to work in the UK
Full UK driving licence required
Able to pass an Enhanced DBSWorking Hours:
Monday to Friday (standard day shifts)
Participation in call-out rota when required (1 week in 6)How to Apply:
