Job Title: Fire & Security Service Engineer
Location: Northern Ireland (with occasional travel to ROI)
Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:30am–5:00pm, Friday 8:30am–4:00pm (flexibility required)
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Service Engineer with in-depth knowledge of fire and electronic security systems to join our Support Team. In this field-based role, you will be responsible for the routine maintenance, testing, and fault repair of Fire Alarms, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, and Access Control systems at client sites. You will also play a key role in our emergency call-out rota, helping us maintain our excellent reputation for customer care and reliability.
You will be the face of our company, delivering a high standard of service and professionalism while representing a business known for its integrity, support, and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out routine maintenance and servicing of Fire, CCTV, Intruder, and Access Control systems
* Diagnose and repair system faults in a timely and effective manner
* Deliver excellent customer service during all client interactions
* Complete all necessary on-site documentation including reports and timesheets
* Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota for emergency repairs
* Travel extensively across Northern Ireland and occasionally to the Republic of Ireland
* Engage in continuous training and development to stay up-to-date with industry standards
* Perform other related duties as required to support the wider team
What We’re Looking For:
* Strong experience in Fire, CCTV, Intruder Alarm, and Access Control systems
* Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and digital reporting tools
* Comfortable using laptops, smartphones, and testing/measuring devices
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Able to work independently and use own initiative
* Good understanding of relevant industry regulations and standards
* Full UK driving licence (required)

Additional Information:
This role includes participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota. When on call, you will receive a standby allowance. The company will provide all necessary equipment and tools to carry out your role effectively.
