Job Description

FIRE STOPPERS - £220 A DAY - LONG-TERM WORK

Gloucester & Surrounding Areas | Starting Late August

Tired of short jobs and gaps between projects?
 We are recruiting experienced Fire Stoppers for long-term work across Gloucester and the surrounding areas, with multiple positions available from late August.

 ✅ Individual operatives and established pairs considered
 ✅ Opportunity to move between projects as workloads increase

The work will include:

Batt and mastic installations
Penetration sealing
Fire collars and wraps
Compartmentation works
Cavity barriers
General passive fire protection works
Completing installations to drawings and specifications
Accurately recording and evidencing all completed workRecording work is crucial

All operatives must be confident using site recording systems to:

✅ Take clear before, during and after photographs
 ✅ Record every completed installation accurately
 ✅ Label and upload evidence correctly
 ✅ Follow site QA and compliance procedures
 ✅ Ensure all work is fully traceable and ready for inspection

Failure to record work properly can affect sign-off, so this is a key part of the role, not an optional extra.

What we need from you:

NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection
Valid CSCS Skilled Worker Card
Proven fire-stopping experience
Strong understanding of recording and evidencing installations
Own tools and full PPE
Reliable transport preferred
Right to work in the UK
Ability to complete work safely and to a high standardGOOD RATE. LONG-TERM WORK. CONSISTENT PROJECTS.
