Fire Stopper - EAST LONDON
 
 £220 - £230 per day  Own Van Required

We're recruiting an experienced Fire Stopper (NVQ Level 2 qualified) for a leading social housing provider.

Day-to-Day Duties:

Installing fire resistant seals, collars, and barriers around pipes, cables, and ductwork penetrations
Fitting intumescent and acoustic mastic to fire doors, walls, and floor/ceiling junctions
Compartmentation works - sealing gaps and voids to maintain fire integrity between units
Surveying properties to identify fire stopping defects and remedial requirements
Materials will be delivered to the lock-up ready for collection
Completing accurate documentation/photographic evidence for compliance records
Working to current fire safety regulations and site-specific method statements
Liaising with site supervisors/residents to ensure works are carried out safely and with minimal disruptionDetails:

Day Rate: £220 - £230 per day
Contract: 3 month temporary period through the agency
Progression: Opportunity to transition to self-employed subcontractor status thereafter, invoicing the client directly
Requirements: NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection (or equivalent), own van, right to work in the UK
Van needed: Materials lock-up is within 2 miles - van required to collect stock and transport tools/materials between jobs dailyWorking with a well established social housing organisation on an ongoing programme of fire safety compliance works.
