Job Title: Fire-Stopping Operative (Nights)
Location: Camden, London, NW1
Pay/Day rate: £290 - £310
Hours of Work: 6:00pm – 4:00am
Type: Temporary
Start Date: Monday 4th August
We are hiring for a Fire-Stopping Operative that has experience with Quelfire Batt and mastic installation and can work on a retail refurbishment project at an EE Store in Camden, London. This is a short-term night shift project (3 nights) and you will be required to complete fire-stopping works to a high standard while using Bolster Systems for digital logging.
Duties of a Fire-Stopping Operative
In this role you will be working in the fire-stopping team to complete remedial passive fire protection works to meet project compliance. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
Installing Quelfire Batt and mastic to manufacturer standards
Logging all installations using Bolster Systems including progress and completion photos
Clocking in and out via Bolster with location services enabled
Ensuring all site equipment is maintained to a high standard
Maintaining clear, safe working conditions throughout
Skills and experience of a Fire-Stopping Operative
As a Fire-Stopping Operative, you need to have experience with:
Passive fire protection systems, especially Quelfire
Using Bolster Systems for documentation and time logging
It would be beneficial to the Fire-Stopping Operative role if you also had:
Fluency in English for site communication and documentation
Punctuality and reliability for night shift attendance
Familiarity with safety protocols and working independently on site
