Job Description
Please note you must have a drivers license and CSCS plus NVQ Level 2 in passive fire protection to be considered for this role.
A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for experienced fire stoppers to join their team. You will be working on domestic and care home projects, carrying out new installations of and remediation works to fire resistant materials The works will be Kent and London based with travel time covered for anything over 1 hour away. Great time to join a leader in the passive fire sector as they expand.
The successful candidate will have:
At least two years’ fire stopping experience
NVQ level 2 passive fire protection
Valid CSCS card
Experience with batt and mastic, fire barrier and compound
Fire curtain experience desired but not essential
Surveying experience would be an advantage
Experience working on social housing FRA contracts
Roles and responsibilities
Complete works in line with the manufacture’s specification
Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately
Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work
Liaise with customers and members of the public

Full time, permanent employment with a reputable contractor within the passive fire protection industry
£43,680 per year, based on a 40hr working week
Company vehicle, fuel card and phone
Travel time paid at £21ph for anything over 1 hour away from home.
FIRAS / BM TRADA experience or accreditation preferred but not essential
