Job Description
A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for experienced fire stoppers to join their team. You will be working on large commercial buildings such as student accomodation, care homes and hospitals carrying out new installations and remediation works to fire resistant materials. The works will be based in the South East region.
The successful candidate will have:
* At least two years’ fire stopping experience
* NVQ level 2 passive fire protection
* Valid CSCS card
* Experience with batt and mastic, fire barrier and compound
* Fire curtain experience desired but not essential
* Surveying experience would be an advantage
* Experience on commercial properties
* Compintent using Onetrace desireable but not essential, training provided during induction
Roles and responsibilities
* Complete works in line with the manufacture’s specification
* Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately
* Carrying out surveys and pre-inspections
* Carrying out new installations and remedial works to pre-exisitng buildings
* Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work
* Liaise with customers and members of the public
