Job Description
Are you an experienced mechanical engineer with a strong background in fire suppression systems? We're working with a well-established fire protection company that is expanding its team and looking for a skilled Mechanical Fire Suppression Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.
As a Mechanical Fire Suppression Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintenance, and servicing of mechanical fire suppression systems (e.g. sprinkler systems, gas suppression ) working site based on a power station.
You will be expected to
*
Install and commission mechanical fire suppression systems in line with relevant standards
*
Conduct planned and reactive maintenance and inspections
*
Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
*
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry best practice
*
Participate in the on-call rota (1 week on/off), site-only
*
Work closely with clients and site teams to deliver high-quality service
*
Prepare reports and documentation following visits
What We’re Looking For:
*
Proven experience working with mechanical fire suppression systems
*
Strong understanding of relevant fire protection standards and regulations
*
CSCS/ECS card and full UK driving licence
*
Excellent problem-solving and communication skillsBefore You Apply
