Job Description
Fire Systems Project Manager
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Fire Systems Project Manager to lead and manage fire projects from conception through completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, compliance, and stakeholder communication to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. While specific requirements may vary, having a combination of education, hands-on experience and a strong technical skill set is essential for success within this role. Reporting directly to the Head of Projects.
Duties and Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and manage fire projects including design, installation, testing, and commissioning.

Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, procurement schedules, and budgets.
*
Collaborate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
*
Ensure all electrical systems and installations comply with regulations, and quality standards.
*
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
*
Prepare and present regular project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
*
Lead project site meetings and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accountability.
Experience and being able to demonstrate the following is essential:

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience managing fire protection projects, including design, installation, inspection, and commissioning of fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, or smoke control systems.
*
Good ability to use PC and modern word processing applications
*
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*
Ability to collaborate with project engineers, contractors, and other key stakeholders
*
Strong knowledge of construction safety practices, especially regarding fire system installations and hot work protocols.
Experience and being able to demonstrate the following is beneficial:

Experience managing subcontractors, coordinating with general contractors, and working alongside MEP trades Knowledge programming cause and effect outcomes via system interfaces is highly desirableBefore You Apply
