Job Description

Reliable Recruit are looking to hire Fitter/Assembler for a temp to perm role based out of our clients manufacturing site in Irlam, Manchester

The work will involve:

  * Assembly and Fitting of parts to construct complete products

  * Following Drawings and designs

  * Quality checking parts being fitted

  * Measuring materials and parts and adjusting with tools where needed

  * Ensuring parts and finished goods meet specifications

  * Reporting any defects to management

  * Recording materials used and work done

  * Regular Manual work and Heavy Lifting

  * Housekeeping Duties

The working times and pay:

  * Monday to Friday

  * 06:00-15:00 OR 07:00-16:00

  * 40 Hours per week paid after breaks

  * £13.00-14.00 p/h dependant on experience

  * 12 week temp to perm role

Skills & Experience Needed:

  * Candidates will need to have recent experience in Assembly/Manufacturing/Fitting

  * Candidates need to be physically fit for regular manual handling and heavy lifting

  * Ability to following detailed designs

  * Quality checking experience

  * Basic Literacy and Numeracy skills needed for measuring and general work
