Fully Qualified Fitter–Machinist
North Manchester - excellent access to M62, M60 and M61 motorways.
£30,129 annual salary
Excellent overtime rates across the week and weekend - Overtime (Mon–Sat): £23.50/hr and (Sun/Bank Holidays): £31.30/hr
Hours - Mon to Thurs 7.30am to 4pm and Fri - 7.30am to 12pm
Based on site in Bury - no travel
Free Parking.

My client is looking to recruit a time-served, fully skilled Fitter–Machinist to join their Production team. This hands-on role offers a diverse mix of precision machining and mechanical fitting tasks, working on advanced engineered systems.
Core Responsibilities:
Machine components using turning, milling, drilling, and CNC operations to tight tolerances.
Assemble and fit equipment to engineering specifications, maintaining our high standards for quality and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support servicing, maintenance, and customer-focused projects.
Apply problem-solving skills and technical know-how in a busy, precision-led environment.
Utilise any electrical understanding where applicable to enhance performance in multidisciplinary tasks.Role Requirements:
Time-served Mechanical Engineer / Fitter–Machinist with relevant qualifications (minimum Level 3 NVQ Diploma).
Demonstrable experience in precision machining: turning, milling, drilling (essential).
Ability to work with precision and accuracy and meet fixed project timelines.
Strong communication skills, professionalism, and customer focus.Benefits:
