CNC Laser Cutting Operative – Flatbed Machines
Wolverhampton | £13.00 p/h | Temp to Perm | Immediate Start
Pertemps Wolverhampton is recruiting on behalf of a long-standing manufacturing and engineering client based in Wolverhampton. We are looking for an experienced CNC Laser Cutting Operative with hands-on experience using flatbed laser cutting machines.
Key Responsibilities:
Operating CNC flatbed laser cutting machines (e.g. Bystronic, Trumpf, Amada, Mazak, Ermaksan)
Setting and adjusting laser cutting equipment for sheet metal and steel components
Reading and interpreting engineering and technical drawings
Quality checking finished metal parts and components
Working within a fast-paced fabrication / production environment
Following strict health & safety and manufacturing procedures
Essential Experience & Skills:
CNC laser cutting experience (flatbed machines)
Background in metal fabrication, sheet metal work, or engineering manufacturing
Ability to work from CAD files, drawings, and job specifications
Knowledge of materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
Understanding of production targets, machine maintenance, and safe working practices
Hours & Pay:
Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4:30pm
£13.00 per hour
Temporary to Permanent position
