Fleet Driver
West Bridgford - NG2
Temporary / Ad-hoc
An opportunity to join the Gi Group and work for one of our local authority clients in Nottingham [West Bridgford], driving one of their fleet passenger vehicles.
Driver Responsibilities:
To undertake a range of passenger transport functions within the Fleet Operations Team, driving a range of specialist vehicles. You will be responsible for the vehicles assigned to you and passenger safety. There is a requirement to work weekends as part of a rota system.
Driver requirements and skills:
* A full 'endorsement free' driving licence that includes category D Licence
* Manual Handling training
* Ability to work without close supervision
* Emergency First Aid Qualification
* Wheelchair securing knowledge
Driver experience:
* Experience in the transportation of passengers
* Minimum of 4 years, driving experience.
* Experience in working to tight schedules
* Experience of working with vulnerable people
Driver Key Information and Benefits:
* Weekly pay
* £14.40 to £28.80 per hour [inc. Holiday Advance Pay]
Driver Shift time:
* Monday to Friday
* Weekend and BH shifts also available
* Start times vary - morning, noon and night
