Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (No weekends)
Salary: £45,000 basic + Company Car | OTE £75,000 - £80,000
Location: Home-based with regular travel
About the Opportunity
Talented People are seeking an experienced Fleet Sales Manager on behalf of a reputable client. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing fleet sales team while contributing directly to business growth. The successful candidate will balance team leadership with customer engagement, supplier relationships, and strategic marketing planning.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
* Manage day-to-day performance of the fleet sales team, ensuring sales targets and KPIs are consistently met
* Coach, mentor, and develop sales executives, fostering a culture of accountability and success
* Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
Customer Engagement
* Attend key customer meetings across the UK to support sales executives in winning and retaining fleet business
* Build strong relationships with new and existing fleet customers, ensuring the company is their first choice
* Represent the company professionally at industry events, customer visits, and networking opportunities
Sales & Operations
* Oversee the full fleet sales process, from lead generation through to delivery, ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction
* Collaborate with the General Sales Manager to align fleet strategies with overall company objectives
* Monitor pipeline activity, conversion rates, and finance penetration, taking proactive measures to optimise results
Marketing & Growth
* Work with the marketing team to plan and execute targeted campaigns for fleet sales
* Provide market insights and customer feedback to shape marketing activity and promotional strategies
* Analyse competitor activity and industry trends to identify new
