Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Benid/ Flexi Driver to join one of our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and possess the ability to handle various materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to logistics, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to safety regulations. Must hold Valid FLT licence
Responsibilities
* Operate FLT truck to transport goods and materials within a warehouse.
* Load and unload items, ensuring safe handling of heavy lifting as required.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and shipments using a Warehouse Management System.
* Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
* Assist in shipping and receiving operations, including verifying the accuracy of shipments.
* Collaborate with warehouse staff to manage inventory levels effectively.
* Utilise forklift equipment for loading and unloading tasks as necessary.
* Apply basic maths skills for measuring, counting, and recording inventory.
Requirements
* Valid Bendi/ Flexi FLT licence.
* Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
* Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.
* Strong materials handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely.
* Proficiency in using warehouse management systems is advantageous.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Pay: £13.20 per hour
Hours of work: 08:00-17:00, any 5 from 7
(core days Mon-Fri with a Sunday as a potential additional shift)
