Location: Various locations in Reading:
* AWE Aldermaston, Reading, RG7 4PE
* AWE Balfour Beatty Hub Aldermaston, Reading RG7 4PR
* AWE Burghfield, Reading, RG30 3RR
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, between 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour

Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Flexible Catering General Assistant to work across multiple locations in Reading, including AWE Aldermaston, AWE Balfour Beatty Hub, and AWE Burghfield. This is a temporary position where you will be required to assist in the daily catering operations, including food preparation, serving, and general kitchen support.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, able to adapt to different locations and environments, and possess a strong work ethic. As this position is based in secure sites, applicants must be born in the United Kingdom, and candidates will need to hold a valid Basic DBS check and a full, clean driving licence due to the nature of the job and location requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support in food preparation, serving, and general kitchen duties.
* Ensure cleanliness and health and safety standards are maintained within the catering environment.
* Assist with stock management and replenishment as needed.
* Adhere to all food hygiene and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with the catering team and other staff members.
Requirements:
* Must have a valid Basic DBS check.
* Must hold a full UK driving licence (due to travel between locations).
* Must be born in the United Kingdom (due to site regulations).
* Flexibility to work across different locations in Reading (AWE Aldermaston, AWE Balfour Beatty Hub, AWE Burghfield).
* Previous experience in catering or kitchen work is desirable.
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required.
