Flexible Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Wigan

Are you a skilled HLTA looking for flexible work that fits around your life? Teaching Personnel is on the lookout for enthusiastic and capable Higher Level Teaching Assistants to join our team and work across a diverse range of primary schools in the Wigan area.

Your Role:
Deliver prepared lessons to whole classes across EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2.
Provide cover for teacher PPA time and run small group or intervention sessions.
Support class teachers in day-to-day activities and contribute to pupil progress.
Build positive relationships with staff and students across multiple schools.
Confidently adapt to new settings and maintain a consistent, professional approach.
What We’re Looking For:
HLTA status or relevant experience delivering whole-class teaching.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
Excellent communication and behaviour management abilities.
A flexible and proactive attitude.
Experience working across primary key stages is desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
