Job Description
Flexographic Printer - Packaging & Labels
Location: Croydon
Shift: Double Days Monday - Friday (Early Finish Friday)
Company: Our client is looking for an experienced flexographic printer to join an innovative and well established team in Croydon.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled flexographic printer to work for a company with many years in house experience, offering high quality packaging and labels solutions, and a company who heavily invests in the latest equipment.

Role:
* Running multi-colour flexographic narrow web presses
* Producing high quality labels and packaging with a variety of finishes
* Maintaining flexographic printing presses while ensuring high standards of print quality and production efficiency
* Mount printing plates and cylinders
* Prepare and mix inks
* Monitor print runs for colour accuracy, registration and consistency
* Inspect printed materials and maintain quality standards
* Troubleshoot printing or mechanical issues as well as routine checks, maintenance and cleaning
Requirements:
* Hold sufficient, recent flexographic printing experience
* Have experience operating a narrow web flexo printer – ideally Mark Andy, MPS, Nilpeter, Edale etc.
* Be aware of flexo print processes, substrates and inks
* Previously or currently printed labels / packaging
* Strong attention to detail and quality control
* Good mechanical troubleshooting ability
