Flexographic Printer – Peterborough
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Are you an experienced Flexographic Printer looking for your next challenge? Our client, a forward-thinking packaging company based in Peterborough, is searching for a skilled printer to join their close-knit production team. This is your chance to take a lead role in setting up a new high-speed, wide-web Flexo press and make a real impact on the business.
The Role
You’ll be hands-on, detail-driven, and proactive, helping to establish new processes while producing top-quality flexible packaging. Alongside printing, you’ll have the flexibility to support other areas of the business—whether that’s forklift work, stock handling, or assisting with maintenance tasks.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Producing high-quality flexible packaging to exacting standards
Setting up new processes and infrastructure for the print line
Colour mixing and matching to meet client specifications
Hitting and maintaining machine target speeds
Completing production and quality paperwork
Collaborating across departments for smooth operations
Operating forklifts and pump trucks for raw material and pallet movement (training provided if needed)
Supporting other business areas as required
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 5 years’ Flexographic printing experience (essential)
Counterbalance forklift licence (or willingness to train)
Strong problem-solving skills and great attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible, adaptable, and willing to support wider business needs
Professional, approachable, and literate
Training & Development:
Full in-house training on company processes
External training opportunities where required
Ongoing skill development

Day shifts initially, moving to double-day shifts
9-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
