Location: Aylesford, Kent 
 Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
 Salary: £34,000-£39,000 per year

About the business: 

My client is looking for an experienced Flexographic Printer to join our busy manufacturing facility in Aylesford. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking business with a strong focus on quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Working in a fast-paced production environment, you will be responsible for operating CI flexographic printing presses while maintaining the highest standards of print quality, efficiency, and health & safety.

Key Responsibilities of a Flexographic Printer: 

Operate 8-colour CI flexographic printing presses.
Set up print jobs, monitor print quality, and make adjustments as required.
Work efficiently to production schedules while minimising downtime.
Carry out routine machine checks and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
Complete production documentation and ensure effective shift handovers.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and comply with BRCGS, quality, and health & safety procedures.Shift Pattern

This role operates on a rotating 3-shift pattern:

06:00 - 14:00
14:00 - 22:00
22:00 - 06:00Requirements for a Flexographic Printer: 

The successful candidate will have:

Proven experience operating CI flexographic printing presses (essential - stack press experience alone is not sufficient).
Experience printing on a variety of substrates, including foil and paper.
Knowledge of solvent and water-based inks.
Experience running high-speed printing presses.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
A proactive, reliable approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
