Newport | £24,222 | 35 hours, Mon to Fri | Help families stay safe and housed
Looking for a varied support role with purpose?
As a Floating Support Worker in Newport, you'll support individuals and families across the area to stay safe and maintain their tenancies.
You will
Provide emotional and practical support to survivors of domestic abuse.
Complete assessments and safety plans
Work in a multi-agency hub
Prevent tenancy breakdown
Liaise with housing providers, police and specialist agencies
Help people move to safer accommodation when needed
Keep accurate case notes
This role suits you if
You stay calm and supportive under pressure
You communicate clearly and kindly
You have experience in domestic abuse, housing or outreach
You can assess risk confidently
You have a driving licence and access to a vehicle
