Job Description

My client, a large, highly-respected Multidisciplinary Consultancy is searching for a Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join their growing team of engineering and design experts, in the lively city of Bristol. Essential Criteria: Extensive experience of producing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies Excellent working knowledge of relevant software packages, including InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, GIS, and others Good knowledge of various industry standards and planning system, including flood-related policy, the NPPF, and the SuDS Manual Recognition of flood- and drainage-related constraints and opportunities, with a view to applying these at a range of development sites Experience of project management, and confidence in employing clear and concise reporting skills Outstanding communication skillsIt would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to have the following: Some experience of stakeholder management and engagement A demonstrable commitment to improving your knowledge and skills in the field Good time management skills, and able to remain flexible and adaptableAs a Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant, you will be joining a growing team of dedicated engineering and design specialists, working on a number of varied, high-profile projects across the country and overseas.
