My client, an innovative, highly-respected Multidisciplinary Consultancy, is currently searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join their expert team of design engineers, based in the bustling, diverse city of Manchester.
Essential Criteria:
A Degree in Geography, Civil Engineering, or similar, relevant discipline
Extensive experience of having worked in a flood risk drainage role
Familiarity with the relevant planning and environmental regulations, as well as the appropriate Section Agreements and their respective applications
Experience of using GIS software (e.g., QGIS), and other relevant software packages
Hold Chartered Status, or actively working toward attaining this

Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline
Good written and oral communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience of managing a range of stakeholder relations
In the fast-paced role of Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant, you will join a dedicated team of experts in the field, with a view to developing your career and progress through the ranks. The role will involve a number of exciting responsibilities, including:
Authoring Flood Risk Assessments, drainage strategies, and planning applications
Overseeing Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) designs, producing plans and technical drawings
Preparing flood risk and mitigation reports for a range of clientele
Establishing and maintaining working relations with a range of clients and other stakeholders
Providing support to wider service areas, contributing to the company's overall vision
