Job Overview
Nuco Solutions are seeking a skilled Floor Layer for their client in Eastleigh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation, with experience in using both hand and power tools. A background in social housing is desirable. A van and fuel card will be provided with this role.
Duties
* Measure and fit vinyl sheet flooring, safety flooring and vinyl tiles
* Prepare floors using latex and plywood
* Fit underlay, gripper rods and carpet
* Carry out minor repairs to all types of floor coverings including carpet, laminate and vinyl
* Carry out minor repairs to stair nosings and treads
* Prepare and fit vinyl to wet rooms, including cap and cove
* Ability to use and apply schedule of rates for job costing repairs
Skills and Experience
* Social housing experience
* Experience working as a team delivering to tight timescales
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Asbestos awarenessBefore You Apply
