Job Description
We have an excellent opportunity to join the team as a Floor Layer.
Location: Nottingham
Hours: 37 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role:
This role will support the maintenance of housing assets, ensuring statutory and regulatory standards are met. You will be contributing to the provision of good-quality rented housing, supporting tenant satisfaction, and upholding health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out installation, repair, and maintenance of floor and wall finishes, including wet-room wall boarding.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and tenancy agreement obligations.
* Assist in delivering high levels of tenant satisfaction and improving landlord–tenant relationships.
* Undertake investigations and tests to diagnose faults and implement effective solutions.
* Use multi-trade skills where appropriate to achieve first-time fixes.
* Maintain accurate job records and support efficient housing services.
What we're looking for:
* Experienced in all aspects of floor and wall finishes, including wet-room wall boarding.
* Skilled in repairs, maintenance, new builds, or contract environments, with experience in job assessments and record keeping.
* Competent in using relevant power tools and equipment safely.
* Capable of investigating and resolving issues with lasting solutions.
* Flexible, organised, and able to work to deadlines.
* Holds a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle (business insurance required)Before You Apply
