Our client, a Civil Engineering Contractor within Water Utilities / Infrastructure are expanding their Flow Monitoring offering and looking for a Project Manager to lead and expand operations related to Flow Monitoring.
As Project Manager you will manage the lifecycle of flow monitoring projects and initiatives, from inception through to delivery, completion and client liaison, ensuring schemes are delivered safely and to agreed specification and timeframes. Applicable candidates will provide technical leadership for the team and commercial insight for decisions making, whilst managing complex field-based projects, strengthening client relationships and driving growth.
As Project Manager you will be responsible for developing and maintaining quality systems, optimising processes, supporting tender activities, leading project teams to ensure successful delivery and operational excellence. This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic direction making, contributing to business growth within the Flow Monitoring sector.
Daily duties will include but are not limited to:
Leading, planning, coordinating and delivering Flow Monitoring projects from inception to completion.
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope and to highest quality standards.
Providing technical guidance and support to project teams and field engineers on Flow Monitoring activities.
Developing client relationships, understanding project scopes and requirements, managing expectations, whilst maintaining strong partnerships.
Developing and implementing quality systems, procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
Driving commercial success on project through cost control, forecasting, identifying new business opportunities and managing approaches.
Leading, mentoring and developing project teams, supporting workforce planning and performance management.
Applicable candidates will have:
Proven project management experience in flow monitoring or related industries (5+ years).
Experience using Project Management software such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
Experience of Data Analysis and Reporting tools relevant to Flow Monitoring
Project Management certification such as PRINCE2 or APMP (Desirable).
Strong technical knowledge of flow monitoring technologies, installation, data collection, and reporting.
Health and Safety compliance knowledge relevant to field operations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Commercial acumen with experience in business growth and client relationship management.
Experience developing Quality Management Systems and process optimisation.
Ability to manage complex, field-based projects with precision.
Stakeholder and client engagement skills.
Risk management and problem-solving capabilities.
Team leadership and mentoring experience.
