Counterbalance Forklift
Location: Biggleswade, SG18
Shifts: Night Shift (10:00PM – 06:00AM)
Night Shift (10:00 – 06:00AM): £16.38 per hour (first 12 weeks) / £17.98 per hour (after 12 weeks)
Our client specialising in supply chain management, based in Biggleswade, is looking for Counterbalance and VNA Forklift Drivers to join their warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods within the warehouse, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. We are also offering staff the possibility of upskilling themselves and training on a VNA Forklift Licence.
Key Duties:
Operate Counterbalance Forklift truck to transport goods to designated locations
Safely load and unload materials, ensuring correct placement
Use a warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory and manage shipments
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on forklift trucks to ensure safe operation
Assist with other warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and general support tasks
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and report any discrepancies or issues
Collaborate with warehouse staff to improve operational efficiency
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all timesExperience & Requirements:
Previous experience as a Counterbalance Forklift Driver
Ability to work within a fast-paced warehouse environment
