Job Description
Lycon Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Forklift Driver (FLT) to join one of the UK’s leading builders’ merchants. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and safety-focused individual to secure ongoing work with an immediate start.
Location: PL25 ( St Austell)
Start Date: ASAP
Shifts: Monday to Friday – daytime hours
Key Responsibilities:
*
Operating a forklift Counter balance to load and unload building materials such as timber, bricks, and bagged goods
*
Assisting with goods-in and goods-out operations
*
Supporting day-to-day yard and warehouse duties
*
Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures
*
Providing friendly, helpful service to trade and retail customers
Requirements:
*
Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance )
*
Previous forklift or yard experience, ideally within a builders’ merchant or construction supply environment
*
Good communication and teamwork skills
*
Safety-conscious, punctual, and reliable
*
Available to start immediately
