Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and safety-conscious FLT Driver to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This role involves operating forklifts to support production and warehouse operations, including material movements, loading/unloading, and stock handling. The position includes both indoor and occasional outdoor work – all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided.
Candidates with a background in manufacturing or warehousing are particularly well-suited for this role.
Roles & Responsibilities
Safely operate forklift trucks (counterbalance or reach, depending on certification) to move raw materials, components, and finished products.
Load and unload deliveries efficiently while ensuring accurate documentation.
Supply production lines with materials in a timely manner to avoid downtime.
Maintain stock accuracy by correctly storing and recording inventory movements.
Work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions (PPE provided).
Perform daily pre-use equipment checks and report any defects or issues.
Follow all site health and safety policies, procedures, and safe working practices.
Support general warehouse and yard duties as required.
Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, and logistics teams.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of working areas.
Key Requirements
Valid FLT license (Counterbalance and/or Reach).
Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically active role.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic.
Happy with some outdoor work
