We are currently working with a leading FM Service Provider to recruit an Asset Manager for their Lifecycle team, to work on a hybrid basis split between home and sites in the North West, West Yorkshire, and Midlands areas
The position comes with a company car and is 40 hours a week, mon-fri
Job role:
The primary responsibility of this role is to collaborate with the Lifecycle Analyst, Assurance Team, and Project Management Office (PMO) to develop pragmatic Scopes of Work that will serve as the foundation for Lifecycle Plans disseminated to clients and the broader organisation. The development of these Scopes of Work will be predicated on assets identified for replacement or refurbishment within the Lifecycle Models, supported by information on Life Expectancy and condition from the Assurance Team, and cost data gathered from the PMO.
Working in conjunction with the Lifecycle Analyst, this role functions as the technical liaison, evaluating and assessing the impact of the condition of an asset that could affect an Asset’s Life Expectancy as detailed with in the Lifecycle Models, potentially necessitating additional funding or works. This could be as a result of a gap in maintenance regimes, or environmental impact (Usage).
The Asset Manager will also oversee and manage the Reactive Lifecycle process, maintaining the various databases and applications, providing direction and technical guidance to both the Assurance Team and various embedded operational delivery teams regarding Reactive Lifecycle works, ensuring adherence to broader client processes and policies.
A key objective will be to support the development, implementation, and deployment of suitable tools and reporting mechanisms in respect to ISO 55001 and the systematic implementation of best asset management practices across all PFI accounts. These tools, once implemented, will enable the various stakeholders (including Hard Services Teams, Operations, Assurance, and Compliance) to follow and maintain Strategic Development Goals concerning Asset Management
Candidate requirements:
* Mechanical or electrical building services qualification
* Mechanical and Electrical Asset Management surveying experience
* Detailed understanding of the principles of ISO 55001
* Experience working with Lifecyle Models & Plans
* Demonstrative capability to proactively implement plans, follow through with sustained execution, and to meet project milestones
* Competent use of Excel & Databases
