About the Role
As a Foil Blocking Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating foil blocking machinery to produce premium-quality finishes on a variety of printed materials. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship in print production.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain BOSTS foil blocking machines to meet production targets
Set up jobs according to customer specifications and job sheets
Monitor quality throughout the run, making adjustments as necessary
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
Work closely with the production team to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a foil blocking operator in a commercial print environment
Hands-on experience with BOSTS printing/foil blocking machinery is essential
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of health and safety practices in a manufacturing setting
