Job Description
Are you looking for a hands-on production role with a well-established manufacturing business in Calne? New Resource Recuitment are currently recruiting for a Foiling Operator to join a fast-paced and growing team. If you have experience working in a production environment and enjoy working with machinery, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Operate and maintain vacuum lamination machinery, including starting up and shutting down equipment safely.
*
Produce high-quality foiled components, following work schedules, production standards, and safety protocols.
*
Support operators with trimming and packaging when required.
*
Complete and maintain accurate production records including run sheets, process condition sheets, and daily logs.
*
Perform quality checks and approve finished components, ensuring strict adherence to company standards.
*
Ensure all products are correctly labelled, packaged, and prepared for safe transportation.
*
Minimise scrap levels and support the reduction of customer complaints.
*
Assist in manufacturing mouldings/formers and support new product development and improvement techniques.
*
Follow all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and use of PPE at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
*
Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment (machinery experience desirable).
*
Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to quality and safety.
*
Organised and able to work to deadlines and changing priorities.
*
Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
*
Basic IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
*
A positive attitude towards training, learning, and development.
