FOLDER / GLUER - PACKAGING
Derbyshire
Up to £18 Per Hour DOE + Overtime + 23 days + Bank Holidays + Birthday Off Paid + Pension
Hours: Double Day Shift Pattern: Mornings (6am-1.30pm) & Afternoon (1.15pm-9pm Mon-Thu, 1.15pm-7.45pm on a Friday).
Our client is a print, packaging and fulfilment business that offers end‐to‐end services with a strong focus on sustainability. They provide high‐volume printing (e.g. long‐run brochures, etc.), packaging design and manufacture, data-driven direct mail and fulfilment, as well as creative design and Web2Print solutions so clients can order and manage stock remotely.

Role Overview
As a key member of the busy finishing team, you'll ensure that all orders are completed to an exceptional standard, within agreed deadlines, and prepared for dispatch on time. A strong understanding of the packaging sector within the print industry is essential for success in this role.
Main Responsibilities
Review job bag instructions to ensure specifications are accurate and produce high-quality results.
Maintain an adequate supply of materials to reduce machine downtime.
Operate and oversee folding, gluing, and packaging machinery, maintaining efficient workflows tailored to packaging-specific requirements.
Pack, label, and palletize finished jobs correctly for dispatch, ensuring compliance with packaging standards.
Perform scheduled cleaning and maintenance of machines.
Follow health and safety policies and implement safe working practices.Required Skills
Proficiency with folder and gluer machines, with a focus on packaging print finishing.
Experience with other Litho and Digital finishing equipment is a plus.
Strong understanding of packaging production processes, including material handling and quality control for folding cartons and related products.
Experience with pick-and-pack processes.
Flexibility to work various shifts.Experience and Behaviours
Experience: At least 2 years of print finishing experience, particularly in folding, gluing, and packaging production.
