Job Description

Thrive Personnel Ltd are seeking a skilled MBO Folder Print Machine Operator to join our clients production team based in South Leeds.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining MBO folding machines to produce high-quality printed materials according to job specifications and production schedules. This role requires a strong understanding of folding techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.

Working hours Monday to Thursday 7am - 7pm

Alternatively if applicants would prefer to work nights a 7pm - 7am shift is also available.

Responsibilities:

* Set up and operate MBO folding machines, adjusting settings for paper size, fold type, and speed to meet job requirements.

* Read and interpret job tickets and specifications to ensure accurate folding and finishing of printed materials.

* Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or inconsistencies and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.

* Perform routine maintenance on folding machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.

* Troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime.

* Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.

* Maintain accurate production records, including job tracking, material usage, and machine downtime.

* Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

* Collaborate with other production team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of jobs
