Food & Beverage Supervisor - North of Scotland, UK Our client is a renowned hotel nestled in the scenic landscapes of the North of Scotland, approximately 85 miles from Inverness. Known for its warm hospitality and stunning surroundings, this establishment offers a unique opportunity for dedicated professionals to thrive in a vibrant environment. The hotel prides itself on delivering exceptional guest experiences, making it an attractive workplace for those passionate about the hospitality industry. Job Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily food and beverage operations within the restaurant, which caters for 40-50 covers. Assist with front-of-house duties, including welcoming guests, checking in and out residents, and ensuring excellent customer service. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service in the restaurant and communal areas. Support the team in delivering a seamless dining experience, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Assist with staff training and development to uphold service standards. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimise restaurant flow. Contribute to the smooth running of the hotel's reception and accommodation services. Required Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in Food & Beverage supervision or management within a busy hospitality environment. Hands-on approach with a "can-do" attitude and a flexible, "jack of all trades" mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional manner. Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards. Experience with front-of-house operations, including guest check-in/out procedures. Relevant certifications such as Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene are desirable.
