Food Innovation Technician – Food/Chocolate - Bournville, Birmingham - Up to £19.81/hr - Inside IR35

As a Plant/Lab Technician, you'll play a vital role in producing high-quality samples for groundbreaking food projects. If you're eager to learn, thrive in a hands-on environment, and are motivated to deliver excellence, this opportunity is tailor-made for you.
What You Will Do:
Operate Pilot Plant equipment to produce samples based on detailed instructions from the Cocoa Ingredients Team Scientists.
Roast cocoa beans, create cocoa liquor, and craft chocolate using the liquor.
Collect, organise, and manage key project data, including processing, analytical, and consumer science data.
Quickly adapt to using new equipment and processes to meet project requirements.
Ensure that all tasks are completed with precision and attention to detail.
What You Will Bring:
Previous experience using manufacturing equipment, ideally within a food manufacturing or catering environment.
A practical mindset with the ability to quickly learn and operate new equipment.
Keen attention to detail and a strong sense of initiative.
A self-motivated approach and the ability to work independently without supervision.
A commitment to delivering high-quality results in every task.
