Job Description
Taskmaster Resources LTD currently have opportunities for production operatives for well-established company within the food production industry. We are currently seeking for reliable and hardworking Food Production Operatives to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Working on a fast-paced food production line, ensuring products are prepared and packed to company standards.
• Collecting and preparing client orders accurately and efficiently.
• Reading and interpreting order sheets, labels, and barcodes to ensure correct products are picked and dispatched.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety and food hygiene regulations.
• Performing quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications.
• Labelling, packing, and palletising goods ready for distribution.
• Following company processes and reporting any issues to supervisors.
Requirements:
• Ability to read and write in English to understand order sheets, barcodes, and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when collecting and processing orders.
• Good level of physical fitness as the role may involve standing for long periods and some manual handling.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude to team working.
• Previous experience in food production, warehousing, or order picking is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Please note: this role is carried out in a chilled/cold environment, so applicants must be comfortable working in such conditions.
Shifts:
• Monday - Sunday Rota-based, working 5 days out of 7 (including weekends).
• Working hours: 06.00 - 14.00
Payrate:
£12.21 p/h
