Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator with strong computer literacy and previous experience in the food and beverage industry. The successful candidate will operate and monitor production machinery, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with strict food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery to ensure smooth and efficient running.
* Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards.
* Use computer systems to input production data, track output, and generate reports.
* Carry out basic troubleshooting and report technical issues promptly.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of machines and work areas in line with food safety regulations.
* Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to Health & Safety guidelines.
* Assist with machine maintenance and support engineers when required.
* Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.
* Record and communicate production data to supervisors.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Machine Operator in the food & beverage sector (preferred).
* Computer literate – able to use production software, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
* Knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP, and health & safety standards.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
* Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexible and willing to work shifts/overtime if required.
* Team player with good communication skills.
Hours of work Mon to Thu 7h00 - 16h00; Fri 7h00 - 13h00Before You Apply
