A fully qualified Food competent Environmental Health Officer able to undertake food hygiene and food standards inspections in low to high risked premises, covering the work of a team colleague whilst on long term sick leave.
You will need to have completed either the Higher Certificate in Food Control (HCFC) or the Advanced Professional Certificate in Food Hygiene and Standards Control (APC-Food)To work independently to undertake (Apply online only) inspections of premises over a period of 3 months; provide food business operators with inspection reports providing legal responsibilities and best practice advice and a brand standard Food Hygiene Rating Scheme rating,
returning paperwork to be inputted onto our database within 48 hours of any inspections.
To undertake revisits where requested and to escalate more serious issues to the Lead Officer for Food and Safety.
