About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and technically skilled Remote Technical Support Specialist to join our Food Services division. This pivotal role supports field engineers by providing first-line technical support, triaging service calls, managing parts allocation, and ensuring data accuracy. You’ll collaborate closely with Divisional Support Supervisors and the Helpdesk team to improve service efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Be Doing

Provide remote technical support to field engineers to reduce on-site visits.

Triage incoming calls, ensuring accurate logging and identifying potential remote resolutions.
*
Identify opportunities to pre-emptively order parts to improve service completion times.
*
Screen all parts requests and place orders on behalf of engineers where appropriate.
*
Review and update asset data, coordinating with Divisional Support as needed.
*
Liaise with the Helpdesk to improve asset identification and call logging accuracy.
What We’re Looking For
*
Technical experience in the food services industry
*
Relevant electrical qualifications
*
Strong understanding of food service equipment and the ability to diagnose issues remotely
*
Knowledge of CAFM systems, P codes, and service call processes
*
Understanding of the parts ordering workflow
*
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
